Our Why

Joshua Elliott, a veterinary internal medicine specialist, and Marie Xavier, a seasoned hospital administrator, launched Sunstone in 2015 to fill an unmet need in the City of Portland: to provide exemplary veterinary specialty care for cats and dogs, distinguished by exceptional personal care and attention.

Why? Because discerning pet parents and referring veterinarians have high standards for care and communication. Our patients and their families deserve nothing less.
